About the Opportunity

We're seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing / Production Operator to join a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Colorado Springs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy precision assembly work, following detailed instructions, and working in a clean, structured manufacturing environment.

This role involves assembling electronic kits and components, hand soldering, performing quality inspections, and following detailed work instructions to support the production of high-quality products used in critical defense applications.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electronic and mechanical kits, assemblies, and subassemblies following detailed work instructions.
• Perform precision hand assembly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform hand soldering and cable assembly on electronic components.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, Bills of Material (BOMs), and manufacturing instructions.
• Install wiring, components, connectors, and cable harnesses.
• Integrate subassemblies into completed products and systems.
• Perform basic electrical testing and visual quality inspections.
• Complete rework or repairs when necessary to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Accurately document work performed using manufacturing work order systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, electronics, or related experience.
• Previous experience with hand soldering is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, and basic schematics.
• Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation is a plus.
• Comfortable sitting at a workstation for extended periods while performing repetitive, detail-oriented work.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (may work until approximately 4:00 PM as needed)
• $19.00–$20.00 per hour
• Ongoing temporary assignment

Hiring Requirements

Because this position supports work within the defense industry, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must provide a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must provide a Birth Certificate during the hiring process.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen, including THC.
• Candidates may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must be eligible to obtain access to classified information.
