We are seeking dedicated Special Care Nursery Registered Nurse (SCN Nurses) to join our Women & Children's Hospital team. We have 13-week contract opportunities available for nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional, compassionate care to newborns and supporting families during critical moments.

Job Summary:

A Special Care Nursery Registered Nurse (SCN RN) delivers compassionate, developmentally appropriate care to newborns requiring intermediate‑level support, including late‑preterm infants, babies with respiratory distress, feeding challenges, infections, or post‑delivery complications.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Location: Honolulu, HI

Compensation

• Weekly Gross: $2900
• Taxed Hourly Rate: $20.50/hr
• Overall Hourly Rate: $85.06/hr
• Stipend: $2,324 (based on 36hr/week)

Requirements:

• Current State of Hawaii RN License
• Experience: Minimum of 2 year of recent SCN RN experience (within the last 24 months)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Current Two-Step TB/Chest X-Ray Clearance (within 1 year)
• N95 Fit Test
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
