Key Responsibilities

• Install snow plows and salt spreaders on trucks
• Service and repair snow equipment, including plows and salters
• Assist with installation of truck accessories such as lift gates, hydraulic dump inserts, and hitches
• Perform basic wiring for lighting and equipment
• Inspect trailers and complete general mechanical repairs
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Support shop operations with various mechanical tasks

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of mechanical or related experience
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn (automotive experience not required)
• Ability to diagnose, repair, or learn to service plows and salting equipment
• Familiarity with Fisher or Western equipment is a plus
• Basic tool set required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical work in a shop environment
• Experience with wiring or electrical work is a plus, but not required
