Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of production components to identify defects
• Measure parts using precision tools such as micrometers and optical comparators
• Verify product dimensions and tolerances against technical drawings and specifications
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings and blueprints
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using micrometers, optical comparators, or similar precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Previous quality control or inspection experience preferred
• ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification preferred, but not required
