Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and handle small, fragile medical instruments with care
• Wipe down and clean instruments prior to packaging
• Use microscopes to closely examine products for quality and accuracy
• Remove and replace protective tip guards as required
• Verify proper labeling, including logo, item number, and markings
• Reference “master” samples and product catalogs to ensure accuracy
• Package instruments in plastic bags or foam-lined boxes with instructions
• Assemble packaging materials, including building boxes and preparing inserts
• Perform detailed labeling and final packaging of products
• Enter production steps and data into a computer system
• Conduct daily cycle counts, verifying lot numbers and serial numbers multiple times per day
• Stock finished goods into designated inventory or overstock areas
• Fold and include instruction materials with packaged items
• Train to perform final inspection and approval prior to shipment

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Good vision and ability to work under a microscope
• Comfortable performing repetitive, intricate tasks
• Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking
• Ability to follow visual guides and reference materials
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience in assembly, packaging, or medical devices is a plus
