Lab Technician | $20.00/hr - $22.50/hr

 

ADM – Decatur, IL

 

Shifts:

• 1^st shift 8:00AM – 4:00PM
• 2^nd shift 4:00PM – 12:00AM
• 3^rd shift 12:00AM – 8:00AM
• Rotating – all three shifts covering other schedule days off

  

Qualifications for Lab Tech

• Solid work history with good attendance record
• Data entry and basic typing skills is a plus
• MS Office proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel) is a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Organized, accurate, and detail oriented
• Previous lab technician experience preferred
• Training or experience with biology or chemistry is a plus but not required
• Two-year degree in a science related field is a plus but not required

 

Responsibilities for Lab Tech

• Collect production samples
• Prepare in-process and finished product samples for testing
• Perform analytical testing
• Record testing results in computerized database system
• Communicate any discrepancies
• Maintain equipment
