Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a growing manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician I to join their production team. This position plays a key role in operating and maintaining production equipment while ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Equipment Operation
- Operate filling, capping, sealing, labeling, and packaging equipment.
- Set up, test, adjust, and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Support production goals while maintaining product quality standards.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and safety requirements.
- Complete production documentation accurately, both electronically and manually.
- Assist with quality inspections, investigations, and audits when required.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and inspection-ready.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned between production runs.
Teamwork & Communication
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets.
- Communicate equipment concerns, process improvement ideas, and resource needs to supervisors.
- Participate in safety meetings and required training programs.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Desired Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing new software systems and technology.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions, production schedules, and technical procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical skills including percentages, ratios, and basic calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
