Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | Paid Lunch | No Weekends

 

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a local Lafayette company seeking an organized, customer-focused professional. This is more than a traditional customer service role—you'll help customers while coordinating orders from start to finish, ensuring projects stay on track and customers receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person
• Prepare quotes and process customer orders
• Follow up on artwork, approvals, deadlines, and order details
• Track open orders from intake through shipping or customer pickup
• Coordinate with design, production, shipping, and installation teams
• Maintain accurate order notes and records
• Answer customer questions regarding orders, shipping, and payments
• Assist with occasional shop support and social media updates

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Able to learn new software and systems quickly
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel experience is a plus)

Experience in customer service, office administration, scheduling, logistics, hospitality, banking, healthcare, insurance, or project coordination is helpful.
