Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule Options

Day Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Swing Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:45 PM – 1:15 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Drill Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining drill press equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications, blueprints, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up drill press equipment to produce accurate holes, slots, and other features.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

• Adjust machine settings and tooling to meet job requirements.

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed.

• Safely load and unload materials and maintain an organized work area.

• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

• Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous manufacturing or machining experience preferred.

• Experience operating a drill press or similar equipment is a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
