Waterjet Operator – Manufacturing / Production

Location: Westchase, FL (33626)

Pay: $18–$25/hr, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM  No overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to run and maintain waterjet cutting equipment for precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining or automated cutting systems, can read blueprints, and is comfortable working with metal, plastics, and other materials. Accuracy, safety, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate waterjet cutting machines to produce parts to specification

• Load materials, set up cutting parameters, and monitor machine performance

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and proper tolerances

• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and nozzle checks

• Adjust cutting speeds, pressures, and tool paths as needed

• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures

• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waterjet Operator or similar machine operator

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Basic understanding of CNC or automated cutting systems

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Flow, OMAX, or similar waterjet systems

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM files or machine programming

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
