Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our waterfront resort property and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of guest accommodations, grounds, facilities, and equipment. This position requires a hands-on individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and minor construction work.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, cottages, common areas, docks, landscaping, and resort facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
• Maintain resort grounds, including outdoor furniture, walkways, lighting, and waterfront areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with property improvement projects and seasonal preparations.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Document completed work orders and report major repair needs to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous maintenance, facilities, hotel, resort, or property management experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• English is required for the role
