Maintenance Turnover Technician
Location: Cape Coral, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Turnover Technician to join a busy apartment community in Cape Coral. This position is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for new residents by completing punch-out work, general maintenance repairs, and unit turnover tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools and possess strong skills in basic apartment maintenance.

 

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnovers to prepare units for new tenants
• Perform punch-out work and address maintenance issues identified during inspections
• Repair and replace basic fixtures, hardware, and apartment components
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs
• Install blinds, shelving, doors, locks, and other apartment fixtures
• Touch-up paint and patch drywall as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow all company safety procedures and property standards

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, handyman, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Experience performing apartment turnovers and punch-out work
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
