Our client is seeking a Prep Cook!

Position Summary

The Prep Cook assists cooks with daily food preparation, supports dishwashing needs, and helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. This role requires someone who works well with others, follows directions accurately, and can reliably support kitchen operations.

• Food preparation — Peel and cut vegetables, fry foods, prepare side salads, pull items for prep, and assist with buffet service.

• Dishwashing support — Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed to support the team.

• Cleaning tasks — Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including wiping surfaces, organizing supplies, and general kitchen upkeep.

• Order handling — Put away deliveries and restock food items and supplies.

• Team support — Assist cooks and other staff members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation — Must consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

• Clean background — No felony theft or sex-related offenses.

• Physical ability — Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Teamwork and communication — Able to get along well with others and follow directions accurately.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Alternating weekends (every 3 weeks): Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
