Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies.
• Plan and produce metal forms or fabricated objects according to specifications.
• Reconstruct and repair damaged metal articles and structures.
• Use hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamps to complete welding projects.
• Cut metal using torches while following diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
• Weld and fuse different types of metals and alloys while maintaining structural integrity and minimizing distortion.
• Set up, adjust, and regulate welding equipment as required for the job.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
• Familiarity with welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00/hr DOE
