A manufacturing company in Stockton is seeking MIG/TIG Welders to join their production team. These positions involve joining metal components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring weld quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Job Summary

The MIG/TIG Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using specialized welding equipment, ensuring weld quality, and supporting daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld metal components using MIG/TIG equipment, gas welders, torches, and hand tools

• Use electrical currents to create heat and bond metals

• Interpret blueprints, technical procedures, and templates

• Inspect welded surfaces to ensure quality and specification compliance

• Move fixtures and equipment as needed

• Complete required documentation accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards

• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Experience & Education

• 0–2 years of welding or manufacturing experience

• Ability to handle basic issues and escalate complex problems

• Beginning to working knowledge of welding processes

• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow directions

• Basic verbal, written, and mathematical skills

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Standing continuously; frequent kneeling, stooping, bending

• Occasional sitting and lifting up to 50 lbs

• Hand/finger dexterity and flexibility

• Work in environments with varying temperatures, dirt, dust, noise, vibration

• Exposure to burning materials and fumes/odors

• Work alone and with others

• Use of maintenance tools and measuring devices

• Clear speech, hearing, and ability to perceive and comprehend instructions
