CDL-A Truck Driver - Temp

Location: Pomeroy, WA / Central Ferry, WA
Pay: $26.00–$32.00/HR
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (must be flexible, OT required)

We are hiring a reliable temporary CDL-A Truck Driver to support an agricultural cooperative specializing in hauling and storing regional crops like wheat. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, comfortable with long driving hours, and open to overtime during peak agricultural season. You’ll primarily be driving short, consistent routes between local locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive a CDL-A truck between Pomeroy and Central Ferry locations
- Transport grain and agricultural materials safely and efficiently
- Operate trucks with minimal loading/unloading required (primarily push-button systems)
- Occasionally assist with loading when needed
- Follow all DOT and safety regulations
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and team

Qualifications & Skills
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Strong reliability and commitment to the full assignment
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours
- Comfortable driving repetitive routes and long hours
- Safety-minded with good driving record preferred

Physical Requirements
- Sit and drive for extended periods
- Light physical activity (minimal lifting required)
- Climb in/out of truck cab as needed
