Senior Accountant
Location: Moscow, IDPay: $64,000 to $90,000 (DOE)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMWe are hiring a detail-oriented and professional Senior Accountant to join a respected firm specializing in natural resource consulting, geospatial intelligence, and environmental management. This role is ideal for someone with strong multi-state payroll experience and GAAP knowledge who enjoys working in a collaborative, corporate environment supporting financial operations.Key Responsibilities- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time- Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation- Support payroll compliance, audits, and reporting requirements- Assist with month-end close activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies- Provide backup support for accounts receivable and accounts payable- Review and troubleshoot work completed by accounting staff- Assist with intercompany transactions and cross-functional accounting tasks- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements- Support ERP system use, administration, and testing of financial processesQualifications & Skills- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required- Experience with multi-state payroll processing- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred- Knowledge of project-based billing or payroll systems is a plus- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Professional, personable, and team-orientedPerks- Competitive pay and benefits- Flexible weekday schedule- Opportunity to work in a professional, corporate accounting environment- Exposure to advanced accounting systems and processes- Career growth potential within a specialized consulting firmApply online or visit our Lewiston Express Employment Professionals office today - ask for Bri!
