Entry-Level Carpenter

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for an Entry-Level Carpenter to join a local company here in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 1st shift, M-F
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: $20/hour

Job Duties:
•    Install and assemble furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures according to specifications
•    Assist with carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, sanding, and finishing materials
•    Perform basic restoration work, including repairs, refinishing, and touch-ups
•    Safely operate a variety of power tools (drills, saws, sanders, nail guns, and other equipment)
•    Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and installation instructions
•    Load, transport, and unload materials and tools to job sites
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tool usage required
•    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
•    Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
•    Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
•    Valid driver’s license required
