Construction - Drywall Finisher

Salary: Up to $30/hr

You’ll work alongside other construction laborers, carpenters, painters, and restoration professionals to deliver high‑quality finishes on residential and commercial projects. The role blends drywall finishing with general labor tasks, making it ideal for a versatile, detail‑oriented tradesperson.

Key Responsibilities

• Drywall measurement & cutting — Measure and cut drywall panels to fit project specifications.
• Drywall installation — Hang drywall on walls and ceilings using proper fastening techniques.
• Finishing work — Tape, mud, and sand joints to achieve a smooth, paint‑ready surface.
• Texture application — Apply texture finishes consistently across surfaces.
• Drywall repair — Repair damaged drywall and assist with water‑damage restoration.
• Blueprint collaboration — Work with team members to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Carpentry & fixture support — Assist with trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and related tasks.
• Site safety & organization — Maintain a clean workspace and follow all construction safety protocols.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in drywall finishing within construction or restoration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with plastering, caulking, stucco, and metal stud framing.
• Experience in carpentry, including framing and trim work.

Bonus skills:

• Painter or airless paint spraying experience
• Flooring, tile, masonry, or plumbing knowledge
• Mold remediation or water‑damage restoration background
• Previous general labor or maintenance experience
• Comfort working around heavy equipment operators and welding crews

Schedule & Pay

• Full‑time, day shift
• Pay up to $30/hr, depending on experience
• Weekly pay
