Position Title: Logistics Clerk
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Location: White Oak, TX

Position Summary

The Receiving and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the accurate receipt, distribution, tracking, and shipment of inventory and materials. This position supports daily warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, processing incoming and outgoing freight, and ensuring an organized and efficient receiving area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Physically count and verify all received parts against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Document, investigate, and report discrepancies, shortages, overages, or damaged materials.
• Deliver received parts from the receiving area to their designated shops or departments.
• Perform and maintain accurate monthly cycle counts of inventory.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and resolve inventory variances.
• Prepare outbound shipments by packaging materials and creating shipping labels.
• Coordinate and process outbound freight through approved carriers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and shipping area.
• Operate a forklift safely to move inventory and materials throughout the facility.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding inventory and shipments.
• Utilize computer systems to track inventory, receiving, and shipping activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and email communication.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn inventory management and shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with company safety guidelines.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
