Machine Operator / Production Associate

Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $20/hr
Type: Temp-to-Hire

A growing manufacturing company specializing in the production of a wide variety of tape products. Are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operator / Production Associate to join team. Industry-specific tape experience is not required; however, candidates should have prior manufacturing experience and be comfortable working with measurements, machinery, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Convert raw materials into finished products according to production orders and specifications.
• Load and unload materials onto production equipment.
• Set up and operate machinery to produce products to required lengths and widths.
• Inspect finished products and complete required quality documentation.
• Package finished products for storage and shipment.
• Accurately record production data, material usage, packaging information, and labor time.
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production and warehouse areas.
• Assist in training and educating new Machine Operator Trainees.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support additional production functions as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience.
• Strong math skills and the ability to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to read and use rulers, tape measures, and calipers accurately.
• Ability to work with both Metric and Imperial (Standard) measurement systems and convert between them.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Industrial Manufacturing
• Production Equipment Operation
• Material Converting Equipment

Please Note: This is not a CNC programming position. Candidates must be comfortable measuring, cutting, inspecting, and physically operating production equipment rather than simply programming machinery.
