CDL-A Driver

Pay: $25.00+ per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver who takes pride in providing excellent customer service while operating in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is professional, communicates effectively, remains calm under pressure, and can adapt to changing route or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and accurately document findings using Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
• Report any vehicle issues, safety concerns, accidents, injuries, or property damage promptly to management or dispatch.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
• Position trailers safely at customer locations without obstructing driveways or traffic flow.
• Communicate customer requests, route issues, blocked containers, or potential missed pickups to dispatch or management.
• Utilize a mobile app for dispatching, routing, and related job functions.
• Participate in required safety meetings, training sessions, and company briefings.
• Assist other drivers or complete additional duties as directed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles with van trailers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, previous employment verification, motor vehicle record review, and drug/alcohol testing history review.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching throughout the workday.
