Medical Billing Supervisor
Full-Time | $50,000 – $60,000 annually

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Billing Supervisor to lead our billing team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing department. The ideal candidate brings hands-on medical billing experience and a proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable. This is a key role that requires both technical billing knowledge and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the daily workflow of the medical billing team, ensuring accuracy and productivity
• Monitor billing operations including charge entry, payment posting, claim submission, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Review and resolve denied or rejected claims in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and company policies and procedures
• Train, mentor, and evaluate billing staff; provide ongoing feedback and performance management
• Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related questions from staff, providers, and payers
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve documentation and coding issues

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience required
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, payer requirements, and the full revenue cycle
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT coding, and EOB/ERA processing
• Experience with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance regulations
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies
• Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
