Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17/hr

POSITION SUMMARY

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Merchandise Processor to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving incoming retail products, verifying shipments, and accurately processing inventory using warehouse systems. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically active environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming merchandise shipments and unload using pallet jacks

• Scan and enter product information into inventory system (Retail Pro experience is a plus)

• Match incoming products to purchase orders and invoices for accuracy

• Count and verify all items received to ensure shipments match order documentation

• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods

• Maintain accurate inventory records and system updates

• Organize and stage merchandise in designated warehouse areas

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout shift

• Comfortable working in a physically active environment (standing, lifting, moving product)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with counting and data entry

• Basic computer skills; experience with Retail Pro is a plus

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
