Job Summary:
We’re seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a high-end, upscale hotel environment. This role is essential to ensuring the property remains in excellent condition while delivering a comfortable and welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining quality standards across all areas of the hotel. Duties:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain grounds and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed
• Monitor building systems and report any issues to management
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain maintenance logs and records of completed work
• Assist with room turns and special projects as assigned
• Provide excellent internal and guest-facing customer service when needed
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front desk teams
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
· Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
· Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed
· Technology skills: Basic computer knowledge for work orders and communication systems
· 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred, ideally in hospitality or property management
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Full-time; schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on hotel needs
