Dock Coordinator - $19.50/Hour  | Start Date: July 13, 2026

 

Express Employment is seeking a Dock Coordinator for a physically demanding outdoor position. This role is responsible for managing assigned dock doors, connecting trucks to the appropriate cables and conveyor systems, performing RF scanning, measuring freight, and ensuring safe, efficient dock operations. This is a rain-or-shine position requiring frequent climbing in and out of trailers and containers.

Training & Schedule Progression

Candidates must be available to complete training and transition through the following schedule:

• Training: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM for several weeks

• Mid Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM for several weeks

• Transition Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

• Final Schedule (Beginning Approximately October 5): 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Important Requirement: A working cell phone with Verizon service is required and is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned dock doors safely and efficiently

• Connect trucks to cables and conveyor systems

• Direct and position trailers into assigned dock doors

• Perform RF scanning and accurately measure freight using a tape measure

• Climb in and out of trailers/containers as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain efficient dock operations

Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure

• Comfortable performing physical labor outdoors

• Ability to climb in and out of trailers and containers

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Reliable attendance and dependability

• Warehouse, logistics, or dock experience preferred but not required

• Training provided
