Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM Resumes and clean backgrounds requried

The ideal background is someone who

·  Has worked full-time for the same company for more than 1 year, within the past two years

·  has no employment gaps longer than 2 months in the past 2 years

·  has worked a full time role where they were on their feet all day, within the past 2 years

·  has a record of reliable attendance

It's a plus if someone has also:

·  packed orders

·  worked in a warehouse environment where metrics are tracked

·  worked in a small business environment

Things that often don't translate well

·  candidates with lots of material handling or skilled labor experience may become disengaged, as that is not a meaningful part of the role currently

·  candidates with leadership experience may want more autonomy than the role provides

·  low effort/people used to roles where they can coast without job consequences

·  people used to working in environments that don't enforce attendance policies

• Key Responsibilities:

  Pick/Pack Order Fulfillment duties

  • Pick and verify items necessary for order fulfillment
  • Transport picked materials to pack station
  • Package orders for shipment, per company standards
  • Prep order batches for daily pickups
  • Aid in identifying possible order entry errors
  • Build boxes, case packs and shipping cartons as needed
  • Respond to inquiries about packages, including communicating shipment specifications, etc
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Assist with physical inventory checks when needed

  Additional Duties

  • Assist loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments as needed
  • Efficiently move product throughout warehouse using manual material handling equipment, as needed
  • Work in accordance with all safety regulations within the facility including OSHA and MSDS Standards.
  • Dispose of scrap materials and refuse as needed
  • Participate in department meetings and trainings as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • The ideal team member should have excellent attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team. You will play a key role in our Fulfillment center, as you will be responsible for the first step (preparing the order shipment) in providing great service to our customers, while ensuring order accuracy.
