Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to join our rebar manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, self-driven, and enjoys working independently in a structured office environment. Full training will be provided on-site.

The Estimator will review construction blueprints, calculate rebar quantities needed for projects, prepare material estimates, and create project proposals for customers. This role works closely with General Contractors and Concrete Subcontractors to support successful project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprint drawings using company software to determine rebar requirements for projects.
• Calculate the amount of rebar needed based on project specifications and measurements.
• Apply pricing per pound to develop accurate project estimates.
• Prepare and type professional proposals for customers.
• Communicate with General Contractors and Concrete Subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.
• Work independently while meeting deadlines and project expectations.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; full training provided.
• Strong math skills required, including Algebra and Geometry.
• Ability to read and understand drawings or technical documents preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work autonomously.
• Type A personality with strong follow-through and accountability.
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Blueprint reading experience preferred (pay consideration up to $20/hour).
• Construction, manufacturing, engineering, or estimating experience is a plus.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 1-hour lunch break
• In-office position
• Business casual dress environment
