Maintenance Supervisor 

Location: Alcoa, TN 

Pay: $43.00 per hour 

Shift: Night shift 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. 3-2-2-3 schedule (work 3 days, off 2, work 2, off 3). 

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a night shift team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading crews, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving production performance. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and adherence to process are critical for success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and manage crew safety, environmental, and health practices
• Monitor production flow and performance to meet operational goals
• Set and communicate daily priorities aligned with business objectives
• Plan and manage crew assignments, scheduling, and overtime
• Ensure all quality and production standards are met
• Lead and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts
• Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities
• Coach and develop employees, including performance improvement plans
• Resolve employee conflicts and enforce workplace policies and procedures
• Lead shift meetings and engage team members in daily operations
• Develop and maintain standard work practices
• Complete leadership standard work and report to management 

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience required
• Supervisory experience required
• Experience working with or alongside a union environment preferred, ideally in a leadership role
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to lead teams and drive performance
• Manufacturing experience required
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred
