Outside Sales Representative – Fire Protection, Life Safety & Security

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our client's customer base and develop new business opportunities for fire protection and security solutions. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with commercial customers, contractors, property managers, facility managers, and industry partners while promoting the company's services

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
  • Conduct site assessments and recommend fire protection and security solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
  • Promote fire alarm, fire sprinkler, suppression, access control, CCTV, monitoring, and inspection/service programs.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve revenue goals.
  • Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with operations, project management, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in fire protection, security, construction, facility services, or related industries preferred.

 

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Field-Based / Territory Sales
Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional after-hours networking and customer events.
