Location: Dublin, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)  
Schedule: Monday–Friday / Day Shift

Pay: Up to $25/ hour based on experience

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Planner to join our team.   

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute coordination of the tactical transportation plans for multiple manufacturing facilities. This includes inbound, interplant, and outbound transportation plans 

• Manage transportation events and enhance carrier utilization to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction 

• Proactively confirm that all future orders have all necessary documents and pickup/delivery information in the dispatch system 

• Work directly with customer service on forward-looking order commitments to advise when appointments should be made, utilizing SOPS and data-driven statistics 

• Provide planning support and technical oversight for assigned client(s) 

• Execute planning processes and activities consistent with defined procedures and management direction    

• You will work with other groups: our Material Resource Planners, Distribution Resource Planners, manufacturing personnel, customer service representatives, and service providers, and help lead the Dispatch team to meet customer requirements 

• Understanding freight bill payments and assisting Accounts Payable in resolution and corrective action 

• Strategically develop, recommend, and implement cost savings and service improvement programs
• Manage equipment: 53ft containers

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

•     Must be able to read a map

•     Must have prior transportation experience/intermodal experience

•     Must be familiar with Southeast geography to know the routes and terminals, especially in Florida and Georgia.
