Location: Moorefield, WV | Full-Time | On-Site

 

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM

 

This is a Direct Hire of position

 

A growing manufacturing company in Moorefield, WV is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for its manufacturing facility and U.S. sales office. This office-based Full-time position is responsible for managing accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance, and supporting reporting and audit activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping activities for the U.S. plant and sales office
• Maintain accurate general ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger, and banking records
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting standards
• Oversee inventory, stock control, capital expenditures, and fixed asset accounting
• Prepare balance sheet (B/S) and profit & loss (P&L) reports accurately and on schedule
• Support annual reporting, audits, and financial deadlines
• Assist with cash flow management and tax-related activities
• Coordinate communication with auditors, tax advisors, government agencies, and other local partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements
• Strong understanding of tax requirements, compliance, and financial regulations
• Hands-on, self-managed approach with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with an open-minded and collaborative mindset
