Technician – Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic

Our client is seeking a skilled Technician to join our growing team in Bridgeport, PA (relocating to Plymouth Meeting, PA in 2027).

This hands-on position involves the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems used in the rail transportation industry. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with hydraulic experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain hydraulic and electromagnetic braking systems
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of rail switch machines
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Complete service documentation and support customer installations
• Follow safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Hydraulic experience preferred
• Technical training, trade school, or equivalent hands-on experience a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally within North America
