1st Shift Building and Grounds Maintenance

Located in Edinburgh, IN

Salary: $20-25/hr

Company Information: A manufacturing company in Edinburgh, IN is hiring a 1st Shift Grounds Maintenance Tech to their team.

 

The Grounds Maintenance Tech is responsible for:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on building structures (inside and out)
• Troubleshoot and maintain basic systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC support)
• Handle painting, patching, and general upkeep throughout the facility
• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, parking lots, and walkways
• Inspect facility racking systems to ensure safety and compliance
• Support preventative maintenance programs and track work orders
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors (HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, etc.)
• Ensure contractor work meets safety and quality expectations
• Monitor service schedules, vendor performance, and maintenance records
• Respond to facility requests and help keep operations running safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and environmental requirements

 

Pay/Benefits:

• Up to $25/HR (based on experience)

• 1st Shift available
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Requirements:

• 3+ years of maintenance or facilities experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
