Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, assisting with product selection, processing sales transactions, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the sales counter in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommend appropriate materials based on customer needs
• Process sales orders, invoices, and payments accurately
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain organized and stocked sales floor and counter areas
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to fulfill customer orders
• Retrieve products from inventory as needed, including bags of grout and similar materials
• Assist with inventory counts and general store upkeep

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Familiarity with construction or building materials is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50–70 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
• Willingness to perform light warehouse-related tasks as needed
