Administrative Assistant

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A well-established organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

The Administrative Assistant will serve as a key support resource for office operations, customer and vendor communication, document management, and administrative coordination. Success in this role requires strong computer skills, professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for daily office operations
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain organized filing systems and office records
  • Prepare, update, and distribute business documents and reports
  • Enter, track, and maintain data using Microsoft Excel and company systems
  • Coordinate information flow between departments and team members
  • Assist with document management and recordkeeping activities
  • Support scheduling, administrative projects, and operational initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain accurate databases and office documentation
  • Ensure information is entered accurately and updated promptly
  • Assist with general office duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of clerical, administrative, or office support experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Daily experience using Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and professional phone skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Construction, contractor, subcontractor, or trades office experience
  • Experience supporting project-based businesses
  • Previous experience coordinating documentation and records in a construction-related environment
  • Experience working with vendors, customers, and field personnel
