Production Associate / General Laborer

Location: McAllen & Pharr, TX

Pay: $9.25 - $13.00 per hour

Environment: Cold Storage & regular Warehouse are available

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Multiple shifts available, including day, evening, overnight, and rotating schedules.
• Overtime and weekends may be required depending on production needs.

 

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Production Associates, General Laborers, Warehouse Associates, and Assemblers for multiple manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution companies throughout the McAllen and Pharr areas. These opportunities are ideal for dependable individuals looking for full-time, long-term employment in fast-paced production environments. Positions may involve assembly, packaging, inspection, material handling, warehouse support, and food production depending on the client assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifting and moving materials often weighing up to 50 lbs
• Assemble products, components, and materials according to work instructions and production specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Sort, package, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution
• Load, unload, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse or production area
• Measure, cut, or prepare materials using basic hand tools and production equipment as needed
• Operate pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment (training provided for some positions)
• Maintain accurate production standards while meeting daily goals
• Keep workstations, warehouse areas, and production lines clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, GMP standards, and production guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse, production, assembly, packaging, and material handling duties as assigned
• Work in a variety of environments including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and refrigerated cold storage facilities (32°F–45°F)

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, production, packaging, or general labor experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, rotating shifts, or in cold storage environments as required
