Mold Machine Set-Up /Process Technician (A2240)

Salary: $19-$21/hr

Our client in Painesville, OH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mold Machine Setup/Process Technician. This role supports injection molding production by setting up, operating, and maintaining molding equipment to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift (3:15 PM – 11:45 PM)

Pay: $19-$21/hr
Overtime: Available

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down molds and secondary equipment
• Make adjustments to tooling, machines, and fixtures as needed
• Start up production jobs and obtain approval when required
• Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks
• Adjust machine parameters to maintain part quality during production runs
• Complete production logs and required documentation
• Inspect and clean molds after production and report any damage
• Complete machine and mold repair tags as needed
• Support additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical school, vocational training, or associate degree preferred
• Injection molding or manufacturing process experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, prints, and safety procedures
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.)
• Ability to use measuring tools and process control equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and train others

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Occasional sitting, bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
• Safety glasses required at all times in production areas
