Customer Service

Job Duties & Requirement (included but not limited to the following):
The Customer Service Representative will serve as liaison between customers and manufacturing. Assist customers by providing one call resolution to customer correspondence in a quick and orderly fashion via phone, email, and face to face.

The individual in this role will serve as a vital liaison between our company and our valued customers. They will be tasked with providing comprehensive information about our products and services, addressing inquiries, and swiftly resolving any issues that may arise. It's imperative that they do so with precision and efficiency, guaranteeing a consistently high level of customer service that exceeds expectations and fosters satisfaction. By embodying these qualities, they will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong relationships with our clientele and upholding our reputation for excellence.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Process orders and address customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Prioritize efficient resolutions for customer queries and issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments and research to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide both general and technical information as required by customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding any discrepancies or delivery conflicts.
• Participate in estimating, shop seminars, and sales functions, including after-hour events.
• Foster a safe and collaborative working environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies, as well as the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
• Undertake additional projects and assignments as necessary to support company objectives.

Qualifications, Education and Experience
• High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience, with previous experience in a specialized technical industry or environment preferred.
• Pricing knowledge/experience is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong e-mail and telephone communication skills.
• Self-motivated, self-regulating individual who can meet job expectations with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability and aptitude to excel in a broadened scope of duties and responsibilities.
