Our client is seeking a Medical Coder!

 

The role of the Billing Specialist will manage billing processes and cross train all billing services provided across all programs.

 

Job Duties:

• Communicate with insurance company representatives.
• Verify insurance coverage.
• Interact with clients concerning outstanding balances and insurance issues.
• Prepare deposit entries into accounting system.
• Research outstanding AR balances, document findings, and submit appropriate adjustments when necessary

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; four years’ experience in an office or business reconciliation may be substituted.
• Experience in collections, credentialing medical providers, and EMR systems
