Box Truck Driver

Located in Tualatin, OR

Salary: $20+ DOE

Positions:

Dock Worker/Box Truck Driver: Fri-Sun 5 AM-5:30 PM

Box Truck Driver: M-F 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Box Truck Driver: Sat & Sun 5 AM-5:30 PM

Class C Driver: Sat/Sun 5 Pm-1:30 AM

 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with loading the box truck via a pallet jack, this is a manual PJ and you will need to be able to push/pull up to 500lbs.
• Once truck is loaded, strap down all contents to ensure a secure transport.
• Verify that all required items are loaded prior to departure.
• Operate 24ft. a box truck safely and abide by all rules of the road.
• Unload truck at client site, if any product is over 600lbs, you are to notify customer and they are to have their team support with forklifts or electrical material handling equipment.
• Use smart phone to access orders, receive directions for jobs and where to go and communicate with the customer and dispatch
• This job is PHYSICAL, you will need to be able to push/pull 300-600lbs on a manual pallet jack
• Communicate with dispatch and customers 

Qualifications:

• Must meet background requirements
• Have a clean driving record
• Pass a drug screen
• Good attendance
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy when handling freight and documentation.
