A manufacturing company in the Saint Louis City area is hiring a full-time Machine Operator for their day shift production team. This is a hands-on, production-critical role where your attention to detail directly impacts product quality.

The Role

You will operate industrial machinery that feeds heavy vinyl rolls into a cutting system, producing sliced rolls known as pancakes. Staying at your station throughout the shift is essential to maintaining quality standards.

What You Will Do

• Load heavy vinyl rolls into the cutting machine for processing
• Slice material into specified widths according to production requirements
• Read and verify work orders to confirm the correct material and customer specifications
• Monitor your machine and flag any issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Cross-train in other departments and rotate as production needs arise

Schedule and Pay

• Pay: $18 per hour
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Work location: Saint Louis, Missouri 63110
• Weekly pay

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to stand at a machine for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Comfortable handling and loading heavy vinyl rolls as a core part of the job
• Ability to read a work order and verify details accurately
• Reliable, focused, and committed to staying at your station
• Prior experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing or light industrial setting is a plus
