Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Low-Voltage Cable Installer to join our team. This position involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling systems at commercial customer locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

 

Responsibilities

• Install, route, secure, and label low-voltage cabling in commercial environments.
• Terminate and test network, data, voice, and other low-voltage cabling systems.
• Read and follow work orders, site plans, and installation instructions.
• Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at customer sites.
• Ensure all installations meet company standards and industry best practices.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and project managers.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Complete required documentation and reports for assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Experience installing low-voltage cabling preferred.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, or structured cabling.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, cable termination, and testing tools is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in ceilings, ladders, and other installation environments.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, if required.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism.
