Job Title: General Laborer (Sitework Construction)

The General Laborer supports daily field operations on sitework construction projects, including earthwork, grading, utility installation, and site preparation. This role involves performing manual labor, assisting equipment operators, and maintaining a safe, organized job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation tasks such as clearing, grading, excavation, and trenching
• Perform manual labor including digging, shoveling, lifting, and material handling
• Support installation of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage)
• Set up and break down job sites, including tools, equipment, and safety barriers
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist heavy equipment operators and skilled tradespeople as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely
• Perform routine labor tasks in varying weather and site conditions

 Qualifications

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred (sitework experience a plus)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and take direction

 Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working on uneven terrain for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license
