Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for this position on behalf of a local organization. This is not an internal position with Express.

Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping childcare professionals succeed? This position provides training, guidance, and professional development to educators who work with children from birth through age five.

The Program Support Specialist will help strengthen early childhood programs throughout Northwest Missouri by sharing resources, promoting best practices, and supporting continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver training and professional development to preschool teachers, daycare providers, and other early childhood professionals
• Provide guidance, resources, and support to improve the quality of care and education
• Ensure training aligns with Missouri’s early childhood priorities and best practices
• Build positive relationships with childcare professionals and community partners
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and reports
• Support program goals and continuous improvement efforts throughout the region

Education and Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, Child Development, Social Work, or a closely related field, plus at least two years of experience working with children from birth to age five

OR

• Current Child Development Associate credential and at least three years of experience working with children from birth to age five

Additional Qualifications

• Experience providing training, coaching, or professional development is preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices
• Excellent organization, documentation, and recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional schedule
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned area

Travel Area

This position serves counties throughout Northwest Missouri, including Andrew, Atchison, Bates, Buchanan, Cass, Clay, Clinton, DeKalb, Gentry, Holt, Jackson, Nodaway, Platte, Vernon, and Worth.
