Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment and automated systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 3-phase electrical systems, control circuits, industrial maintenance practices, and production equipment. Mechanical troubleshooting skills are highly preferred.

This role will primarily work a swing shift schedule, providing support during critical production hours and bridging day and evening operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and automated systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain 3-phase electrical systems, motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and equipment.
  • Support equipment startups, changeovers, and operational improvements.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
  • Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with:
    • 3-phase electrical systems
    • Control circuits
    • Motors and motor controls
    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
    • Electrical diagnostics and repair
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience repairing industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.

Schedule

This position will work a hybrid/swing shift schedule and may follow one of the following options:

  • Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
    OR
  • Four 10-hour shifts: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM with a 3-day weekend

Schedule flexibility may be available based on business needs.
