We have an opening for a Welder Helper position working at a contract manufacturing facility located in Decatur, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

 

*** THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION REQUIRING FUNDAMENTAL DIY SKILLS ***

 

Skills/Qualifications

Must be proficient with a variety of hand and power tools.

Must have good listening skills and ability to follow instructions.

Prior exposure to a welding environment would be a plus.

Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support to certified welders and perform whatever tasks are necessary to assist in their efforts.

Follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (welding helmet, safety glasses and gloves) as necessary.
