Assembly/Press Operator Day Shift

Express Employment is seeking Assemblers/Press Operators in Shelbyville, KY for Day Shift Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm Pay Rate: $13.00. Interested candidates should have previous Assembly and Press Experience with Plastic Injection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete a visual quality check of product at beginning of shift
• Completes visual checks of each part produced to ensure it meets part specifications
• Notifying material handler in a timely fashion, to make sure all stations are stocked
• Assures that all components and assemblies in assigned area are properly tagged
• Keeps work area organized, and clean
• Reports count of and dispossess of all production scrap into the appropriate scrap bin at the end of each shift. Reports discrepancies to supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous Assembly and Quality Inspection experience
• Ability to use basic hand tools

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to lift 10 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist for up to 8 hours
