Shop Manager

Located in Tulsa, OK

Salary: $30-35

• Directly supervises craft and trade employees, including daily work direction, scheduling, and task assignment. 
• Conduct regular performance conversations and provides timely, constructive feedback. 
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes in coordination with HR. 
• Administrative tasks as required for payroll reporting. 
• Oversee proper use, maintenance, and accountability of shop tools, and equipment. 
• Enforce company policies regarding tool handling, storage, and care. 
• Track inventory and communicates needs or deficiencies to the Division Manager. 
• Communicated work expectations, priorities, and updates clearly to shop employees on a daily basis. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing craft or trade employees in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment. 
• Professional references required. 
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
• Hands on knowledge of welding processes including MIG and TIG in a wide range of metals; certified welding credentials are a plus. 
• Experience with metal finishing processes including painting, abrasive blasting, graining, sanding, and powder coating; patina application experience is a plus. 
• Experience in decorative metal forming and/or forging is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive, high-performing team environment.
