Our client, a growing manufacturing organization serving highly regulated industries, is seeking a Human Resources & Compliance Clerk to provide administrative, HR, compliance, and safety support across multiple departments. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting employee lifecycle activities, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary
The Human Resources & Compliance Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to Human Resources, Compliance, and Safety functions. The role is responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and training activities, supporting compliance programs, and helping ensure accurate documentation and communication throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Some college coursework completed.

Minimum one (1) year of administrative, human resources, or related office experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Knowledge of HR processes, compliance documentation, and records management.

Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now.

Familiarity with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Forms.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bilingual Spanish language skills.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
-
Maintain and update employee personnel files, both electronic and physical.

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of employment documentation and collection of required paperwork.

Update and maintain HR and payroll tracking reports, including attendance, training records, employee status changes, and compliance-related documentation.

Manage company-wide communications through internal communication platforms and email announcements.

Support employee engagement activities, training sessions, benefits enrollment events, team-building activities, and other company-sponsored programs.

Coordinate interviews, employment verifications, and employee training schedules.
-
Respond to routine employee inquiries and escalate matters to appropriate HR personnel when necessary.

Provide general administrative support to HR and Compliance teams.
Compliance Support

Maintain workforce training and compliance documentation programs, including auditing, scanning, and filing records.

Collect, review, track, and maintain supplier and customer compliance documentation and survey responses.

Support documentation and communication processes related to intercompany material transfers and recordkeeping requirements.

Provide backup support for engineering and document control processes as workload demands require.

Assist with audits and compliance record maintenance to ensure organizational readiness.
Safety Support

Maintain visitor badge records and issue replacements as needed.

Conduct routine safety-related administrative audits and maintain supporting documentation.

Prepare and distribute Safety Committee meeting minutes and track completion of assigned action items.

Coordinate monthly safety training programs, communications, attendance tracking, and record retention.

Support ongoing safety initiatives and compliance activities across the organization.

Confidentiality & Compliance Requirements
This position requires handling confidential employee, customer, and business information. The role may involve access to export-controlled or proprietary documentation. Due to regulatory requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.
