PM - MIG Welder

Located in Winnsboro, TX

Salary: $18/hr - $23/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a PM - MIG Welder position for a local Winnsboro, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Weld, position, align, and fit miscellaneous steel components according to technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure fabricated parts meet design specifications and quality standards
• Perform MIG welding while maintaining strong weld quality and consistency
• Assist with cutting, fitting, grinding, and preparing materials prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds and components for dimensional accuracy and quality
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Strong welding proficiency in MIG (TIG and stick welding experience is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
• Experience with fabrication processes including cutting, fitting, grinding, and material preparation
• Familiarity with welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, clamps, and measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to perform precise visual and dimensional inspections
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shop for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
• Safety-conscious and able to work effectively in a fabrication environment
